You may schedule an appointment by phone or walk in anytime during our business hours. Dr. Revere will provide a no cost exam to see if your puppy is a good candidate for an ear cropping. You will be able to select from a variety of styles we have here or you can also bring a picture of your own if you would like. The surgery is performed the same day and you will be called when your puppy is ready to be picked up. When you pick up your puppy, they will have their first ear taping already placed. Your medications will be provided and explained to you in detail. Aftercare instructions will also be discussed with you and provided to you on paper to review at home. The healing process typically takes 10 to 14 days. During this time, your puppy will need to return every 3 to 4 days to have their ears retaped(rebandaged). Each retaping is $10. After the 2 weeks, you will return for the final suture removal date which is $25 and includes the stitch removal plus a taping. For short eared dogs like Pitbulls and Cane Corsos, this is usually the last appointment. For longer eared dogs like Dobermans and Great Danes, they will require up to 5 additional once a week tapings until their ears are standing.
